I finally sorted through the hundreds of digital photos from our Route 66 trip, and the gallery is available online here for your viewing pleasure.
Please feel free to print out the images, hold them up to the light, and pretend you're being forced to sit through a slide show.
The Pentax was dead, and we had no clue until we tried to use it in Kansas. So, the Olympus digicam got us through the trip. I was surprised at how well it did; far better than most P&S cameras, and certainly just as easy to use. My only complaint with it is the poor resolution (1.3 MegaPixels).
The photos were taken by both me and Liz, and I've tried to label them as much as possible. If a photo is good, it's probably by Liz. If it's bad, I probably took it.
Also taken with the Canonet's self timer.
I was experimenting with zone focus techniques and decided to try them out on myself.
Taken using the self timer of the Canonet. Note the large dead mosquito on my forehead.
